Join us on Tuesday, March 9th, for our next SETX YPO "Breakfast with the Boss" event, with featured speakers: Rozena Dendy & Jennifer Dunphy, ExxonMobil.
Rozena Dendy
Plant Manager, ExxonMobil Beaumont Refinery
Rozena Dendy holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. She joined ExxonMobil in 1998 in Baytown, Texas, as a process designer. Dendy progressed through several engineering and leadership roles at the Baytown Refinery; Refining and Supply Headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia; the Torrance Refinery in California; and the Sarnia Refinery in Canada.
Rozena comes to Beaumont from her most recent assignment in Nanticoke, Canada, where she was the Nanticoke Refinery Manager. A native of Timmonsville, South Carolina, she’s thrilled to be back in the South, and specifically, back in Texas. Dendy is excited to be in Beaumont and is looking forward to getting to know the people and the community.
Rozena and her husband, Norris, have been married for 20 years and have a nine-year old son, Norris II. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, hiking biking and other outdoor activities. The family is excited to discover all of the outdoor pursuits Southeast Texas has to offer.
Jennifer Dunphy
Plant Manager, ExxonMobil Beaumont Chemical Plant
Jennifer Dunphy holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. She joined ExxonMobil in 1993 as a process engineer at the Mobil Beaumont Polyethylene Plant. From 1994 – 2000, she progressed through a variety of engineering and supervisory roles at Houston-area manufacturing sites. Dunphy held various planning roles in Houston from 2000-2006, before assuming the role of Pipeline Operations Manager in 2008. In 2008, she moved to Edison New Jersey, where she was plant manager at the Edison Chemical Plant. In 2011, she moved back to Texas where she was the technology licensing manager in Baytown and then the Chemicals Marketing manager in Houston, before moving to Baton Rouge in 2016 to become the plastics plant manager.
Jennifer comes to Beaumont from Baton Rouge, where she was most recently the process manager at the Baton Rouge Chemical Plant. She is excited to be back in Texas, and specifically back in Beaumont where she started her career at ExxonMobil. She is very impressed with the growth of Beaumont since she lived here in the early 1990s.
Jennifer and her husband, Ken, have been married for 27 years and have two children, Kyle and Katie. Kyle is a recent graduate of Clemson University, and Katie is a sophomore at Louisiana State University. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
SETX YPO is an organization of young professional between the ages of 21 and 40, living in Hardin, Jefferson and Orange Counties, interested in making a difference in their community and networking with other young professionals with similar interests.
