United Way "Day of Caring"

We have been invited to participate in the 5^th Annual United Way “Day of Caring” on Friday, March 25, 2022, and we would like to make this our spring community service project for YPO! This unique one-day volunteer event, organized by United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County, will pair area businesses and organizations with local nonprofits, schools, libraries, churches and other entities as volunteer teams help with various projects all over Southeast Texas ranging from painting, food sorting and boxing, mulching playgrounds, clean-up help, trash pick-up, gardening and so much more. The purpose of this event is to GIVE BACK to our community in a BIG way, so it is United Way’s intent to get as much help as possible to our community during the “Day of Caring,” and to raise awareness of the needs that exist, all while helping save these local agencies thousands of dollars in labor cost. T-shirts will be made for the “Day of Caring.” Please put your T-shirt size in the comment section of registration no later than Friday, February 25 if you plan to attend. This event is not open to the public, but registration IS required to participate so that we can have a firm number to give to United Way, as well as proper T-shirt sizes for everyone!
