Announcing New Interim GBCOC PresidentApril 09, 2018
BEAUMONT- (April 6, 2018) The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce announces effective Monday, April 9, 2018, Andy Dill will be serving as the interim President of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. Andy brings to Southeast Texas, a twenty-five year career in the telecommunications industry and five years in the petrochemical and agricultural chemical industry. Andy is the former President of the Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County serving in that capacity from 2003-2013.
Andy and his wife Sylvia have been married for forty-eight years and have two children and three grandchildren. Andy is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin, Leadership Lufkin, Leadership Montgomery County and Leadership North Houston and has completed the three year Community Development Institute Program as well as a fourth year continuing education through the Texas Community Development Program associated with Lone Star College System.
Andy has a passion for community involvement and has served on numerous boards including Montgomery County United Way, Montgomery Economic Development Foundation, Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives, President of the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Executives, as well as serving as President of the Rotary Club of East Montgomery County. Andy believes that the development of informed leaders will build a stronger community.
We welcome Andy to Southeast Texas and look forward to working with him as the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce begins their quest for a new president.
The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce (GBCOC) serves members and the community as a catalyst to promote the economic growth of Beaumont and the surrounding areas. The GBCOC continues to place the economic development needs of established and new businesses first by advocating for the business community and developing cutting edge programs that support economic growth in our region.
