SPINDLETOP AWARD

The Spindletop Award is the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce's highest organizational honor. Established in 1999, the award recognizes a business or organization that has demonstrated outstanding corporate citizenship and made a lasting impact on the economic vitality and quality of life of Southeast Texas.

Presented annually during the Chamber's Annual Meeting, the Spindletop Award honors organizations whose leadership extends beyond business success through community involvement, collaboration, innovation, and a long-term commitment to strengthening the region.

Recipients are selected by a committee composed of current and past Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce Board Chairs. In evaluating nominees, the committee considers factors including:

• Outstanding corporate citizenship
• Positive impact on the economic vitality of Southeast Texas
• Collaboration with business, government, and community partners
• Leadership in advancing the region
• Overall reputation as an outstanding organization
