Lemonade Day 2022

Teaching kids the power of Entrepreneurship! Lemonade Day is a program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand.  It gives them the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business during Jefferson County’s community-wide Lemonade Day on May 1, 2022. This amazing program also teaches them how to SAVE some, SPEND some, and SHARE some. (Identify a charity and give back to the community with a portion of what they raise). Participants will receive materials that will teach them how to set a budget, interact with customers and market their stand. They will also learn how to partner with local businesses for their stand placement.
